Q: How often should I apply?
A: Apply Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Body Shield SPF 50 liberally and evenly 15 minutes before exposure to environmental aggressors. Like all SPF products, reapply at least every 2 hours.
Q: Can I mix this with body lotion?
A: It is not recommended to mix Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Body Shield SPF 50 as this causes the formula to be diluted. In addition, Body Shield SPF 50 has apple fruit extract, glycerin, and jojoba esters that make this ideal for daily moisturization so mixing with body lotion is unnecessary.
Q: Can this be applied on the face?
A: While Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Body Shield SPF 50 can be applied on the face, its texture and weightless finish was designed to be applied on the body. Q: Is this product safe for sensitive skin and will it cause me to break out?
A: Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Body Shield SPF 50 is 100% mineral protection that is free of chemical active ingredients, oil free, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. It will not cause you to breakout as it is oil free and non-comedogenic (meaning that it is specially formulated to not cause blockage of pores).
Q: Will this rub off on clothes?
A: The neutral tint in Body Shield Classic is achieved using iron oxides, which are mineral pigments. These mineral pigments sit on top of skin rather than absorbing into the skin. Although the current formulation of Body Shield Classic offers improved transfer resistance from our original formula, it is not transfer-proof. To minimize colour transfer, apply in thin layers, waiting 1-2 minutes to dry between layers. Take care when in contact with delicate or light coloured fabrics. Wash immediately with warm water and gentle detergent if colour has transferred.
